Your tax figures stay on your device.

In short: iTaxON does not require an account and does not upload the salary, income, deduction or saved-plan figures you enter. The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements; AdMob may process limited device and usage data as described below.

1. Who we are

iTaxON is an independently developed Indian income-tax planning app published by Partha Kar. Questions about this policy can be sent to itaxon.info@gmail.com.

2. Calculator and saved-plan data

Information you enter into the calculators—such as salary, income, deductions, tax already paid and saved tax plans—is processed locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives these figures, and we cannot view or recover them. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes locally saved information.

3. Advertising and automatically processed data

iTaxON uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display banner advertisements. When ads are available, Google may automatically collect and share the following data:

IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
user product interactions, including app launches and interactions with ads;
diagnostic information, such as crash logs, app launch time and performance information; and
device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising identifier where available.

Your tax information is not sent to AdMob. Calculator values, salary details, deductions, tax results, downloaded statements and saved plans are not attached to advertising requests and are not used to select advertisements.

Google states that this data may be used for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security and compliance. Advertising data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. Consent and advertising choices

Where required, iTaxON uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request advertising consent before loading ads. Depending on your region and consent choice, Google may show personalized or non-personalized ads. The choices shown can vary by country or region.

If a privacy-options entry is required for your region, it is available inside the app's Guide section so you can review or change your advertising choices. You can also manage advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center and Android's device-level advertising controls.

5. Internet access and offline use

The core tax calculators, saved plans and tax guide can work without an internet connection. Internet access is used to request advertisements and when you choose to open an external link. If no connection is available, the core calculators continue to work and the advertising area may remain empty.

6. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your calculator inputs or saved plans. Data processed by Google through AdMob may be shared with Google and its advertising partners for the purposes described above, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

7. Children's privacy

iTaxON is a tax-planning tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app's calculators. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the concern.

8. Security and retention

Calculator data remains within the app's local storage and is protected by your device's security. Retention of data processed by Google is governed by Google's policies and the user's advertising and privacy settings.

9. Your choices

You can delete locally saved calculator data from within the app where a delete option is provided, or by clearing app storage or uninstalling iTaxON. You can also review device-level advertising controls in Android settings and, where shown, use the app's advertising privacy choices.

10. External links

iTaxON links to official tax references, Google Play and other external websites. Those services have their own privacy practices, and iTaxON does not control their content or data handling.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app features, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
